Congratulations to Ann Byrne Bernie Plunkette and Oral O’ Farrell who were awarded service medals.

Ann was awarded a 15 year medal Bernie a 20 year Medal and Orla a 5 year Medal at the founders day celebration held by the 5th Kildare troop in Clane at St Michael & All Angels Church Millicent. The Founders Day was address by Fr Peter Keogh the Vicar of St Michaels chef Scout and our regional Commissioner Damien.

The scout section traveled to Gowran in Co Kilkenny on Sunday the 5th of
November06 to the Reptile Village. We all had a fantastic time looking at and
feeding the Reptiles. We saw Rattlesnakes, Lizards, a Spitting Cobra and
Goliath Bird Eating Spiders to name but a few. It’s a trip we will doing again this time next year
