We had our first Outing ON THE 28TH September to the Annual fun day in the Abbey, Celbridge, Organised by the Cill Dara County. Over 117 Members  of our Unit from Cubs and Scouts Beavers attended on the day. In all close to 500 Children were there.

The Abbey is a beautiful place to be,particularly on a sunny day. There was lots to do there ans we learned new games for the Beavers to do in the Scout Den.

Hello my name is Anne Byrne I am the Beaver leader of the Thursday night Beavers which came into existence on the 12th December 1991.

I have 22 Beavers who attend regularly every week. We do many things. Singing all the beaver songs and playing all the games. The favourite game at the the moment is ‘Fruitbowl’.

Badge work is mostly done in the scout den. Our outings are always successful.

Our beaver scout waiting list is very large and getting bigger by the day.
