Unit Camp

Annual Unit Camp 2006.

We had our annual unit camp from Friday the 29th of September 06 to Sunday the
1st of October 06 in Larch Hill. Friday was a nice summer’s day and we got out tents up in time before the Rain came thanks to Noel Keegan Orla O’Farrell and Chris Mullen. It started to rain on Friday and never stopped even when we were going home on Sunday we had heavy rain and gale force winds our tents stayed
up thanks to the above leaders know how in erecting tents and to Ann McGuinness, Orla, Peter Kerwin and of course Neil McCooe who kept an eye on them thought the night. We had 15 scouts and 35 Cubs camping with us for the week-end each one off them enjoyed them self’s. We were joined on Saturday for
a BBQ in the rain AND BOY DID IT RAIN.
Our Tuesday Beavers with their Leader Catherine Gallagher and our Thursday Night Beavers with Their Leaders Ann Byrne and Jimmy and some Parents who helped on the day. The beaver when home wet dirty and very happy with their day in Larch Hill.
